Receiving year end awards at the Palomino Horse Breeders Association Youth year end banquet were: Bethany Balk, Rich Hill, MO, Youth Champion 1032, with Skip Spanish Tamale; Lindsay Lullman, Town Country, MO, Youth Champion 1031, with Silk Sunset; and Amanda Rohwedder, Waterloo, IL, Supreme Champion 227, with Neatly Stung.

Catherine Tudor stands in front of the Stall Decorations depicting Cinderella’s Castle and her Pumpkin Carriage at the PHBA World Show.  The PEAM Youth group won 2nd place in the Stall Decorations contest and received $50 to benefit the membership.

 

Nine Missouri (PEAM) youth exhibited their horses at the PHBA Youth World Show that was held in Tulsa, OK, July 7-11, 2004.

Missouri youth members march into the arena during the Parade of States held at the opening of the show.  “Golden Horses” (Stephanie Wisecup and Libby Tudor) pull Cinderella’s (Bethany Balk) Pumpkin Carriage to the Royal World Show Ball.  Cinderella’s Step Mother (Catherine Tudor) accompanies the carriage as well as her Fairy Godmother (Kelly Dowling).  The Prince (Tré Holliday) carries her slipper on the Royal Pillow.

Youth Advisor Rick Tudor was in charge of cooking the burgers and the brats during the World Show MO youth cookout while Christal Peterson and her grandfather enjoy the good food.

Libby Tudor stands next to her horse’s stall that she decorated for the stall decoration contest.  The Cinderella theme was carried through the Missouri group’s stall decorations as well.

 

The hot tub at the Drury Inn proved to be a popular place as well.

could be found mostly hanging out in the hot tub!

 

After the pool closed and the youth had had their fill of pizza,
the activities adjourned to a room to watch horse movies such as
'Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron" and 'Hidalgo' for the rest of the evening.
