PONY EXPRESS HORSE SHOW CIRCUIT YEAR END
WINNER
Congratulations to Lynn Siefker
(pictured on right) and BCQH Mr. Diamond Leo for their outstanding
2006 show season in the Pony Express Horse Show Circuit. This
is a multi-breed show circuit centered around the Kansas City
area. They were recognized at the annual banquet held January
6, 2007, at the KCI Airport Marriot, and received the following
Year End, High Point awards:
1st - Open Spotted, Paint, Palomino, Pleasure
2nd - Showmanship at Halter, 17 and under
2nd - Quarter Horse Hunter Under Saddle
2nd - Western Pleasure, 17 and under

September 29th & 30th at the Royal Oaks arena in Carthage,
MO. PEAM members must exhibit at the 2007 Spring Fling show,
June 2 & 3 in Sedalia, in order to be eligible to qualify
for the Invitational from PEAM.

PEAM was also well represented at the Fall Harvest
Youth Show November 10-12, 2006
with members Megan Griffith, Catherine Tudor, Megan Tucholski,
Julia Tucholski, Lynn Siefker,
Jordan Kirkland, and the Wolf sisters Alex & Jackie,
exhibiting their horses
at the Boone County Fairgrounds.

| Congrats to Lynn Siefker and BCQH
Mr. Diamond Leo for winning the Overall Reserve All-Around, 12
& Under Championship for the 3 day show!! She won a belt
buckle and a jacket for her hard work over the course of the
weekend! Lynn's other placings were: Champion in 2 & Under
HUS and Catalog race, 2nd in Hunt Seat Equitation and Musical
Buckets, 4th in Western Pleasure and Exchange race, 6th in Trail,
7th in Horsemanship and Costume, 8th in both Showmanship and
Egg & Spoon. |
Youth members Megan Griffith
with Yanks Diamond Reward and Catherine Tudor with Litas Top
Cash, also exhibited at the Fall Harvest Youth Show. Megan &
Flash were the 13 & Over Flag Race Champions, placed 4th
in Trail and Showmanship, 8th in Ride a Buck, and a couple of
other placings she said she couldn't remember! Catherine exhibited
No Doubt A Zippo in 13 & Over Showmanship and was Reserve
Champion. For the remainder of her classes she showed Litas Top
Cash and was Champion in Egg and Spoon, Reserve Champion in Trail,
3rd in Equitation, 5th in Hunter Hack, 6th in Diaper Relay and
Exchange Race, 9th in Reining, and 10th in Ride a Buck. |

Trophy & Rosette from showing his Palomino OO Midas Glow
in the Walk-Trot class. Additionally he showed his sorrel Quarter
Horse - Hauling Cool Cash and won 5th in Keyhole, 9th Flags,
and 10th in Exchange Race.

Sisters Julia and Megan Tucholski
show off a few of their winning ribbons from the weekend's event.
Julia showed her Paint Horse while her sister, Megan, showed
her Palomino Skip Spanish Tamale. This was Molly's last show
with Megan, as she now has a new owner. Megan has purchased a
new Paint Horse and will be seen around the Paint Horse circuits
with her sister. Both girls showing the same breed of horse will
help keep mom Tina, and coach Stephanie Wisecup, a little less
busy during the show season!!

Miss Starlites Angel (pictured) along
with exhibitor Christal Peterson earned her PHBA Superior in
Youth Mares and also in Youth Color in 2006!! In the local association
that they show with, Angel and Christal won Grand Champion in
Halter Mares and in Youth Showmanship at Halter. Sunkist Expression
and Christal earned Grand Champion in Hunter Under Saddle, 14-18
Walk Trot, Open Western Pleasure, and in 14-18 Western Pleasure.
Christal and her two horses were entered in 6 classes and took
Grand Champion in all 6!

2006 MIDWEST GOLD
CHALLENGE and 2006 NATIONAL YOUTH WINNERS
The Midwest Gold Challenge series of shows finished up the
2006 season on October 8th at the Iowa Palomino Exhibitors Association
show. PEAM Youth member, Libby Tudor (left), and her gelding
No Doubt A Zippo were the 13 & Under Champions, High Point
Gaming Horse, and Reserve Champion Senior Performance Horse.
Libby & Romeo completed the 2006 show season finishing 4th
in the Nation in the PHBA 13 & Under division. Also recognized
at the closing show was PEAM youth exhibitor, Lindsey McCracken
(middle) with Zip in the Millenium. They were named the Youth
14-18 Champion for the Challenge. At the close of 2006, the pair
won the PHBA High Point 14-18 in the Nation title. PEAM associate
youth member, Jordan Miller (right), and her horse Zips Gold
Copykat, were the PHBA Reserve High Point, 13 & Under, in
the Nation for 2006. All three girls will receive their PHBA
awards at the PHBA Youth Convention held in conjunction with
the 2007 PHBA-Y World Show in Tulsa, OK.
Not pictured was Deana Nell, PEAM amateur associate member,
who was recognized for winning the following awards:

2006 AMERICAN ROYAL YOUTH SHOW:
McKenzie Hamilton, Lauren Wilson, Cody Noeller, Megan Griffith,
Libby Tudor, Jordan Kirkland, Bethany Balk, and Lynn Siefker
all exhibited their Palominos, while Julia Tucholski exhibited
her Paint Horse, at the American Royal Youth show that was held
in Kansas City, September 23 & 24. Congrats to McKenzie for
winning the Novice Reserve High Point Award showing SS Fancy
Dude. The pair was 2nd in Horsemanship, 3rd in HUS, 3rd in Equitation,
and 5th in WP. Also congrats to Lynn Siefker and Mr. BCQH Mr.
Diamond Leo for winning the Reserve High Point award for the
8-10 year old division. They placed 1st in Showmanship, 2nd in
HUS and Equitation, 5th in Horsemanship, and 6th in WP. Jordan
Kirkland and OO Midas Glow won 2nd in Novice Showmanship and
6th in Novice WP. Cody Noeller won 6th in 8-10 Showmanship while
exhibiting Good Moon Rising. Libby Tudor won 1st in Pony Showmanship
with Megan, 1st in Saddle Type Showmanship with DJ's Melody,
and 3rd in 11-13 Quarter Type Showmanship with No Doubt A Zippo.
She and Romeo also placed 5th in WP, 8th in HUS, and 10th in
Horsemanship. Julia Tucholski won 2nd in 8-10 Horsemanship, 4th
in Equitation, 5th in HUS, and 7th in WP. Megan Griffith showed
her Palomino gelding, Yanks Diamond Reward and won 4th in 14-18
Showmanship. Good job to all the PEAM members!

Youth member Libby Tudor participated
in Showmanship classes with (L-R) her pony-Megan, her sister's

Doubt A Zippo. Libby won two firsts and a third with the trio.

their first place finish in the PHBA Youth World Show Stall Decorating
Contest. PEAM members accepting the award were (L-R) Casey Montgomery,
Lauren Wilson, Lynn Siefker, Catherine Tudor, and Libby Tudor.
The PEAM Youth members received their award at the PHBA-Y Banquet
that was held at the close of the PHBA-Y World Show in Tulsa,
OK.

first place in the Stall Decorating Contest! Members participating

PEAM YOUTH WIN 3RD PLACE IN THE PHBA-Y WS PARADE
OF STATES

PEAMissouri Youth members line up to march into
the Livestock Arena for the Parade of States. The theme for the
2006 World Show was Time Periods. The Youth members chose the
1960's and enjoyed dressing up in Hippie clothing for the parade.
The group passed out "Peace Necklaces" as they "rode"
around the arena in a Volkswagon "Luv Bug" complete
with working headlights! The Youth from left to right were: Casey
Montgomery, Lauren Wilson, Libby Tudor, Megan Griffith, Bethany
Balk, and Lynn Siefker. Not pictured was Catherine Tudor. The
group won 3rd place in the contest. |
